GĀF can connect from both sides: Thus it has four forms: detached, initial, medial, and final.
The little squiggle over the tail of the letter is not normally written in handwriting.

GĀF has special combination forms with ALIF and LĀM:

گ + ا =	Hindi equivalent: गा
گ + ل = گ	Hindi equivalent: गल or

Remember that nothing can connect after ALIF so is also a breaker. On the other hand is not a breaker because its final element is ﻝ.
